Kryvyi Rih hit by Russian ballistic missiles and 28 Shahed drones, 17-year-old injured

On the night of July 16, Russia launched ballistic missiles and drone attacks on Kryvyi Rih. A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured as a result of the attack, according to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s Defense Council.
“This has never happened before. A ballistic missile and 28 Shahed drones simultaneously. An industrial enterprise was destroyed,” Vilkul noted.
The injured 17-year-old is in critical condition with abdominal wounds. Doctors are fighting to save his life.
“The restoration of the electricity supply is underway in several districts of the city. The water supply is being maintained by generators. It won’t be restored quickly. There are several fires, which are being localized,” added the head of the city’s Defense Council.
Attack on Ukraine
On the evening of July 15, Russia launched drones at Ukraine from multiple directions.
The Russian forces attacked Kharkiv, where three people were injured. In just 15 minutes, 17 explosions were reported in the city.
In Kryvyi Rih, a missile struck first, followed by a massive drone raid using Shahed drones. The city is experiencing widespread power outages and possible water supply disruptions.
