Russian attack causes major blackouts and water outages in Kryvyi Rih

In Kryvyi Rih, amid a massive enemy attack during the night of July 16, power outages occurred. The city may also experience disruptions to its water supply, reports Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s Defense Council.
Shortly after 12:30 a.m. Kyiv time, local media reported that power had gone out in several districts of Kryvyi Rih, following explosions in the city.
According to Vilkul, as of 12:40 a.m., Kryvyi Rih had suffered around 20 strikes as a result of a large-scale drone attack. Another 15 Shahed drones were still in the air and approaching the city.
The head of the city’s Defense Council confirmed that Kryvyi Rih is experiencing power issues.
“Widespread power outages. The water supply system is switching to generators. A drop in water pressure is possible, especially on upper floors,” he noted.
