On Wednesday, July 9, Russian forces once again attacked the railway station in Kherson (a city in southern Ukraine), damaging the luggage storage building, according to Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukraine's state railway company).

"Russians once again attacked the Kherson station railway terminal, damaging the luggage building and shattering windows," the statement reads.

It also noted that at the time of the attack, eight people were in the station's shelter. None of them were injured.

"All trains in the region are operating on schedule," Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) added.

Previous Russian strikes on Kherson railway station

Russia has repeatedly targeted the railway station in Kherson, a city in southern Ukraine.

On May 18, Russian forces shelled Kherson's Central District, damaging the railway station.

Earlier, on May 8, Russia struck civilian railway infrastructure in the city, damaging both the tracks and the station building.
