Kherson faces days without power after Russia's shelling
Kherson may have no electricity for several days after the massive Russian shelling. Water is being supplied in the city on schedule, according to the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko.
“According to the worst forecasts, Kherson may not have electricity for several days. We are doing everything possible to power the city earlier,” Mrochko said.
Kherson has introduced a water supply schedule: from 6 to 8 a.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m.
Mrochko said that on the morning of November 29, they will be able to supply electricity to critical infrastructure facilities and ensure sustainable water, gas, and heat supply for the population. The entire city is now supplied with gas.
He adds that Kherson is counting on the help of the Mykolaiv region.
Kherson is organizing the delivery of drinking water to the districts. Volunteers will deliver hot lunches to residents of houses without gas.
