Kharkiv enterprise hit by Russian drone attack, authorities assess impact

At 3:28 a.m. Kyiv time, Syniehubov reported that a hostile drone strike was preliminarily confirmed in the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv.

He later added that the attack involved approximately eight drone hits. The extent of the damage is still being assessed, and relevant emergency services have been dispatched to the impact sites.

Terekhov reported that drones launched a massive attack on the grounds of a municipal enterprise located in the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv.

“According to preliminary information, there are no casualties at this time. The extent of the damage is still being assessed. A fire broke out at the impact sites,” the mayor stated.

He also confirmed that, in total, eight strikes were recorded in the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that residential buildings near the site of the attack sustained damage, with the extent of the destruction still being assessed.

So far, there have been no reports of casualties.

Update 4:21 a.m.

Syniehubov reported that during the drone attack in Kharkiv’s Slobidskyi district, a 61-year-old woman was injured.

Medical teams are providing all necessary care.

Russian attacks on Kharkiv and the region

In the early hours of May 30, Russian forces once again launched kamikaze Shahed drone attacks on Ukraine.

Around 3:00 a.m. Kyiv time, explosions were heard in Kharkiv. The Air Forces reported drones moving toward the city, as well as an incoming high-speed ballistic target.

Shortly after, a prolonged series of explosions rocked the city.

The night before, an explosion was heard in Kharkiv following a warning about an approaching high-speed target.

It was later confirmed that the Russians struck a civilian facility in the Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv region with Kh-32 missiles.
