On the evening of Thursday, May 29, the Russian army launched a double missile strike on an industrial facility in the suburbs of Kharkiv, according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the investigation, on May 29, around 6:30 p.m. Kyiv time, the Russian armed forces launched a missile strike on the outskirts of Kharkiv. The impact is recorded on the territory of a civilian enterprise in the Chuhuiv district.

Buildings and vehicles are damaged at the site. Preliminary data indicates that the Russian army used two Kh-35 missiles.

"Prosecutors, in cooperation with police investigators, are carrying out comprehensive procedural actions to properly document and investigate war crimes committed by servicemen of the armed forces of the Russian Federation," the statement said.

Under the procedural guidance of the Chuhuiv District Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
