US President Donald Trump's Special Representative on Ukraine Affairs Keith Kellogg is planning a visit to Ukraine, according to RBC-Ukraine source.

As the interlocutor told RBC-Ukraine, Kellogg’s visit to Ukraine is being planned. However, there is a nuance.

"But there are no dates yet," the source clarified.

It is worth noting that this will not be Kellogg’s first visit to Ukraine. He visited the country last month and left on July 16. More on this – in the article by RBC-Ukraine.

His last trip was lengthy and was remembered by Kyiv residents for the fact that the enemy did not carry out massive attacks on the city while Kellogg was in the capital of Ukraine.

Another Trump special representative, Steve Witkoff is heading to Russia

This week, the US President’s special representative, Steve Witkoff, may visit the Russian Federation. It is expected that he will arrive in Moscow on August 6 or 7, at the request of the Russian side, Donald Trump said during a conversation with journalists.

"Possibly on Wednesday or Thursday, he will go to Russia. They requested this meeting. We’ll see what comes of it," said Trump.

In February 2025, Witkoff had already arrived in Moscow as Trump’s special envoy. At that time, he retrieved American Mark Fogel from a Russian prison. During that visit, he held a three-hour meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

After that, he returned to Russia three more times: on March 13, April 11, and April 25.

Thus, this will already be Witkoff’s fifth visit to Russia, now, with the potential goal of resuming negotiations regarding the war in Ukraine.

Today, the Kremlin has already made a statement about the potential visit of Trump’s special representative to Russia this week. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov did not rule out the possibility of a meeting between Putin and Witkoff this week.

The potential visit of Kellogg to Kyiv and Witkoff to Moscow is taking place against the backdrop of Trump’s diplomatic activation, who wants to conclude a deal to end Russia’s war against Ukraine by August 8.

The day before, he gave Putin a 50-day deadline, and then shortened it to 10 days (the deadline expires on August 8). After which the head of the White House promises tough sanctions.
