Kallas unveils new initiatives for Ukraine at emergency Munich meeting

EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas has announced new initiatives on Ukraine, emphasizing that Europe remains united in its support for the country, according to her X account.
According to her, as the Munich Security Conference 2025 concluded, EU foreign ministers, still in Munich, held a "good discussion."
"Europe stands strongly united in supporting Ukraine and strengthening our own defence. We will soon come up with new initiatives to take this forward," she stated.

Meanwhile, Estonia's foreign minister, Margus Tsahkna, added on X that there is a clear understanding of the need for continued support for Ukraine, increasing pressure on Russia, and strengthening Europe's defense capabilities.
