Russia continues to maintain a Kalibr cruise missile carrier in the Black Sea waters as of the morning of June 15. However, the vessel is not armed, so there’s no threat of missile strikes, reports the Ukrainian Navy.

According to military reports, as of 6:00 a.m. Kyiv time, there are no Russian ships in the Sea of Azov.

At the same time, three vessels have been detected in the Mediterranean Sea. One of them is a carrier of Kalibr missiles with a total salvo capacity of up to 8 missiles.

Additionally, over the past day, in the interests of Russia, the Kerch Strait was crossed by:

  • to the Black Sea - 3 vessels, of which 2 continued toward the Bosporus Strait;
  • to the Sea of Azov - 2 vessels.

“Russia continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) of 1974 by turning off automatic identification systems,” the military added.

Russia has relocated its fleet

At the end of May, Ukrainian Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk stated that the Russian army no longer considers even the military harbor in Novorossiysk safe. This became especially true after Russia was forced to abandon its main base in Sevastopol.
