While on combat duty in the Black Sea waters, there are currently two submarines equipped with 8 Kalibr missiles each, according to the Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk.

In the Black Sea waters, the enemy's naval group has somewhat reduced. Surface missile carriers were moved to their bases overnight.

"Two submarines (eight Kalibr missiles in total) remain on combat duty, ready for deployment," said Natalia Humeniuk, the Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine.

She also highlighted that detecting submarine-launched missiles is more challenging, emphasizing the importance of not ignoring air alarm signals.

"I would like to remind you that detecting launches from submarines is somewhat complicated: the missiles in such cases travel very low above the water, making them difficult to detect. Therefore, there might be only a few minutes between detecting the aerial target and the actual impact. Hence, in such situations, one should treat air alarm signals very attentively and react promptly," stated Humeniuk.
