Currently, Russia has four missile carriers in the Black Sea. Therefore, the risk of danger is very high, reports Natalia Humeniuk, head of the joint press center of the South military command.

"At present, the missile strike group in the Black Sea consists of four missile carriers: two submarines and two surface vessels. In this case, 24 Kalibrs may be ready for use. And this is a very high risk of missile danger and threat from the sea," she said.

Humeniuk added that the Russians, although they have not used the Kalibr for a long time, may resort to using them.

"Given the fact that the enemy has not used Kalibr for a long time, and even taking into account the difficulties they have with providing further logistics and maintenance, they are capable of using it, and therefore this danger cannot be discounted," she said.

At the same time, she called for reacting to air raid warnings.

Russian missile carriers in the Black Sea

Recently, the spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk, said that the Russian Federation has been keeping a different number of missile carriers on combat duty in the Black Sea for a long time.

According to her, such tactics may indicate both that the Russians are preparing for a future Kalibr missile strike and that the enemy is using them to distract the attention of Ukrainian air defense forces.
