Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to the West the idea of a "duel" with the medium-range ballistic missile Oreshnik. This highlights the type of madmen Ukraine is fighting against, according to a press conference by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"Putin said it would be a technological duel. He says, 'We’ll strike somewhere in Kyiv with the Oreshnik, and they should deploy air defense and see what happens.' Do you think this is a sane person? Just madmen," emphasized the head of the Ukrainian state.

Putin's scandalous idea

Earlier today, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed a "high-tech duel" to Western countries.

He called on Ukraine's partners to deploy their air defense systems in Kyiv, after which Russia would strike the Ukrainian capital with the "Oreshnik" missile.

Despite the threat to civilians, the dictator cynically described this idea as an "experiment."

It is worth noting that Russia has already used its medium-range ballistic missile Oreshnik to strike Dnipro. Moreover, Putin has repeatedly threatened to launch another attack.
