Izmail under attack: Shahed drones hit port area, causing injuries

The Russian army attacked the Odesa region with drones last night, targeting the Izmail district once again, reports the Izmail District State Administration.
According to the District State Administration, despite the active efforts of the Air Defense Forces, some drones managed to hit their targets. Specifically, the attack damaged port infrastructure and caused fires, which are being extinguished by units of the State Emergency Service in the Odesa region.
One person was injured during the attack and is receiving all necessary assistance.
“The enemy continues to carry out terrorist acts against the peaceful population of our country,” the statement reads.
Ukrainian Navy servicemen destroyed five Shahed drones during the night.
Attacks on Ukraine
On the night of August 18, explosions were heard in Odesa as Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on the city from multiple directions.
On the night of July 16, Russian forces attacked several regions of Ukraine. In Kharkiv, the assault injured three people.
That same night, drones targeted the Izmail district in the Odesa region, hitting infrastructure and causing a fire.
