Israeli forces find Russian anti-tank missiles with Hezbollah militants
Hezbollah militants use Russian-made Kornet anti-tank missile systems. They were discovered by Israeli soldiers, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Israeli troops continue to destroy a large Hezbollah terrorist hub in southern Lebanon, which includes combat systems, anti-tank positions, numerous weapons depots containing grenades, firearms and military equipment, observation posts, and more.

During the operation, Israeli forces discovered a concealed position with a Kornet anti-tank guided missile system, with a range of approximately 8 kilometers. The Kornet system was found near the body of a Hezbollah militant who was eliminated during one of the strikes. An attack drone was also found at the militant's position.
At another location, Israeli soldiers spotted several underground tunnels and weapons depots.
The IDF also reported that Israeli Air Force aircraft destroyed dozens of Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure targets in southern Lebanon.
Russian weapons in Hezbollah’s arsenal
This is not the first case of Russian-made weapons being found with Hezbollah militants.
In October, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the discovery of advanced Russian weapons in Hezbollah’s possession.
