Drones hit Rostov region railway station, fire breaks out

Unknown drones have been attacking Russia’s Rostov region for the second night in a row. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out again at the Tatsynskaia railway station, according to Russian social media channels.
Residents told the Telegram channel SHOT that loud explosions began ringing out in the Tatsinsky district around 1 a.m. In total, at least 5–7 powerful blasts were heard, preceded by the distinctive sound of drones flying overhead.
A fire erupted at the impact site near the Tatsynskaia railway station.
After debris from one of the enemy drones fell, a fire broke out in one of the areas of the settlement — reportedly, a tree caught fire.
Residents of the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky also reported hearing explosions.
Air attacks on the Rostov region
In the early hours of Tuesday, August 5, attack drones also struck the Tatsynskaia railway station in the Rostov region.
The station serves as a logistics hub for the Russian army. It handles shipments from a nearby oil depot and is used for loading grain from a nearby grain elevator.
Additionally, on July 29, unidentified drones attacked the railway station in the city of Salsk in the Rostov region. As a result of the strike, train traffic was disrupted, and a freight train caught fire.
That same night, drones also targeted the traction substation at the Dvoynaya railway station, located in the settlement of Orlovsky, Rostov region.
