Israeli aviation strikes Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon
On Wednesday, September 18, Israeli fighter jets struck buildings in southern Lebanon where Hezbollah operatives were located, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
The strikes targeted the Jebbain area in southern Lebanon. Specific airstrikes were carried out on a rocket launcher and other buildings used by terrorists in Halta, Kafr Kila, Odayse, and Chama.
The Israeli military has released footage of the attacks.

Additionally, according to the IDF, around 10 rockets were launched in the evening on Wednesday in the Mount Hermon area, hitting open territories.
Throughout September 18, more than 40 rockets were fired from Lebanon into northern Israel.
Tensions between Israel and Lebanon
Since the autumn of last year, when the conflict began in the Gaza Strip, Hezbollah militants have been regularly targeting northern Israel. In response, Israel has attacked Islamist targets.
Recently, the IDF struck a weapons manufacturing facility and a command center of the group in Lebanon.
On September 17 and 18, there was a widespread detonation of pagers, mobile phones, and other communication devices belonging to individuals linked to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Israel has officially announced the start of a military operation in southern Lebanon.
