On Tuesday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) again targeted military infrastructure belonging to the terrorist group Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, according to the IDF's Telegram channel.

The strikes were carried out in the Matmoura area in southern Lebanon, as well as against other Hezbollah military structures in the region.

Lebanese media reported a new attack on the Bekaa Valley in the east of the country. Reports indicate that explosions were heard during the passage of Israeli fighter jets over the area.

The IDF struck Hezbollah weapon caches in the Bekaa Valley in response to a drone attack on northern Israel.

Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health reported that preliminary data indicates one person was killed and 19 others were injured as a result of the attack.

Shelling of Israel and Lebanon

It is worth noting that on the night of August 20, the IDF attacked Hezbollah weapon storage facilities in the Bekaa Valley. As a result of the attack, a terrorist from the group's rocket unit, Hussein Ali Hussein, was eliminated.

The Israeli military also eliminated two senior members of the Palestinian group Hamas who were involved in the killing of an Israeli citizen.

Additionally, Israel recently struck Hezbollah military targets in the Maroun al-Ras and Aita al-Shaab areas in southern Lebanon.
