The American leader said that Iran’s air defense, air force, navy, and leadership have been destroyed.
"Their air defense, Air Force, Navy, and leadership is gone. They want to talk. I said, "Too late!" Trump wrote.
US operation timeline
The joint US-Israel operation against Iran began on the morning of February 28. American and Israeli forces carried out a series of strikes on Iranian territory. The main result was the elimination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
On March 1, President Trump officially outlined the timeline for the military campaign against Iran, stating that the active phase of combat operations would last no more than four weeks.
According to the US leader, this timeframe was built into the strategic planning from the very beginning.
Trump emphasized that despite the intensity of the conflict and Iran’s attempts to retaliate, the strength of the US armed forces will enable the process to be completed on schedule or even sooner.
At the same time, Bloomberg reports that Qatar and the UAE are trying to convince the American leader not to delay the war against Iran. One reason is a shortage of critical missiles for Patriot air defense systems, which are capable of intercepting Iranian ballistic missiles.
