A massive Iranian missile attack on Israel killed five Ukrainian citizens, including three minors, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informs.

According to preliminary information from the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel, on June 14, a missile hit a residential building in Bat Yam during the Iranian missile attack on Israel. This strike caused the deaths of five Ukrainian citizens, including three minors.

The identities of the victims are being confirmed. Ukrainian diplomats and consuls remain in close contact with Israeli police and other agencies. They coordinate efforts to identify the deceased and arrange repatriation of the bodies.

At 7:12 PM Kyiv time, Israeli outlet Ynet reports that the explosion of an Iranian missile in Bat Yam killed a 10-year-old boy, an 8-year-old girl, three women aged 50, 60, and 80, and a young man around 18 years old.

Situation in the Middle East

On the night of June 13, Israel launched a series of powerful strikes on targets in Iran. These included sites linked to Iran’s nuclear program and military infrastructure.

The attack aimed to disable key elements of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, ballistic missile production facilities, and other military targets.

In response, Iran launched several missiles at Israel on the evening of June 13. According to initial data, missiles struck at least seven locations around Tel Aviv.

The exchanges of fire have continued for three days. Today, Israel stated it attacked more than 170 targets related to Iran's military and nuclear infrastructure. Overall, the operation has targeted approximately 720 targets with around 250 strikes.

In response, Iran has been retaliating by launching waves of missiles and drones toward Israel. In the past 24 hours, the attacks killed 12 people and injured 385, who were hospitalized.
