Iran begins repairs in Natanz after US strikes: ISW analyzes satellite data

Iran has begun repair work at the Natanz enrichment complex following US strikes on nuclear facilities, according to a report from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
"Iran may have begun repair operations at the Natanz Enrichment Complex. Commercially available satellite imagery captured on June 27 shows that Iran has filled in a crater that was formed by US GBU-57 bunker-buster bombs," the report reads.
According to ISW, satellite imagery shows two tents and a truck positioned at the bomb impact site.
Israeli media and some analysts suggest Iran may be attempting to extract enriched uranium, although this information cannot be independently verified.
The satellite images also confirmed that Israeli airstrikes destroyed a radar installation in Khuzestan Province on June 21. The radar had been installed sometime between 2023 and 2024.
US strike on Iran
On the night of June 22, the United States carried out strikes on three key Iranian nuclear facilities. US President Donald Trump declared that Tehran’s nuclear program had been "completely destroyed."
However, CNN reported, citing US intelligence sources, that Iran’s core nuclear infrastructure was not entirely eliminated. In response, Trump called the report fake news.
CNN also noted that the US did not use bunker-busting bombs for one of the targeted facilities.
