In the temporarily occupied part of the Kharkiv region, a Russian soldier opened fire in the entrance of an apartment building, killing three civilians, according to an interception released by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense.

Ukrainian intelligence intercepted a conversation between Russian military servicemen in which they discussed the shooting incident in a residential building.

According to one of the Russian soldiers, a serviceman with the call sign Ryzhyi (Red) "opened fire throughout the entire building entrance." The conversation mentioned that his "canteen leaked" (he's lost his mind - ed.). In the end, Ryzhyi was also shot.

"One of mine went, and hit three more civilians," the Russian soldier added, confirming that civilians were killed as a result of the shooting.

According to Ukrainian forces, the order to kill civilians was given by a Russian commander with the call sign Bali, who wanted the military to "kill everyone indiscriminately."

Additionally, on September 28, British media reported that they had identified 13 Russian commanders involved in large-scale war crimes in Bucha, Kyiv region.
