IDF will respond to Iran for breaking ceasefire, says Israel's Defense Minister

The Israeli Ministry of Defense has instructed the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to carry out strikes on regime targets in central Tehran due to Iran’s violation of the ceasefire, Sky News reports, quoting Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.
According to Katz, he instructed the military to "respond forcefully to Iran's violation of the ceasefire with intense strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran."
Sky News adds that it is currently unclear whether Katz was referring to the missiles discovered in northern Israel after the ceasefire was announced, or to an earlier Iranian attack.
Israel-Iran war
On June 13, the IDF launched Operation codenamed Rising Lion, during which it conducted airstrikes on Iran's military and nuclear facilities. High-ranking military officials and specialists involved in Iran's nuclear program were reportedly killed during the attack.
Since then, the two countries have been exchanging daily strikes.
On June 22, the United States intervened in the conflict, launching bunker-buster bomb strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. In response, Tehran attacked the US Al Udeid airbase in Qatar.
Today, June 24, US President Donald Trump announced that a ceasefire had taken effect, but later Israel reported incoming Iranian missiles.
