Israel achieved the goals of the operation against Iran, which lasted 12 days. Iran's nuclear program has suffered significant damage, stated the Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), Eyal Zamir, The Times of Israel reports.

He stated that after twelve days of unprecedented combat, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) demonstrated maximum effectiveness and fully achieved the goals and objectives of the operation.

Zamir added that the IDF Intelligence Directorate confirms the damage to Iran's nuclear program is not localized, but systemic.

The IDF Chief of General Staff said the accumulated results allow the conclusion that Iran's nuclear program has suffered serious and profound damage, and has been set back by years.

According to him, Israel will not allow Iran to produce weapons of mass destruction.

Israel's operation

Israel began launching missile strikes against Iran 12 days ago. The priority targets were uranium enrichment plants.

The United States also took part in the Israeli operation. They probably helped bomb Iran's underground nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan.

Yesterday, June 24, US President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Iran had begun a truce.

Today, Trump announced that Israel's war with Iran is over.
