Today, October 26, Israel struck targets in Iran. Iran's nuclear facilities were not damaged in the attack, states Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

“Iran’s nuclear facilities have not been impacted. IAEA inspectors are safe and continue their vital work,” explained Grossi.

He also called on countries to exercise prudence and refrain from actions that could jeopardize the safety of nuclear and other radioactive materials.

Israel's response to the Iranian attack

Today, Israel struck targets in Iran in response to the ballistic missile attack that took place earlier this month.

A series of explosions occurred in Tehran and other Iranian cities. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that the strikes were “precise” and targeted Iranian military facilities.

Meanwhile, Iran and Iraq closed their airspace after the attacks began.

According to Israel's Channel 12, the first wave of Israeli air strikes targeted Iranian missile and air defense facilities.
