Iran and Iraq close their airspace
Iran has closed its airspace until Saturday at 9:00 a.m. local time (1:30 a.m. Eastern Time), while Iraq has closed its airspace until 11:00 a.m. local time (4:00 a.m. Eastern Time), reports CNN.
According to an official statement from Iraq's Civil Aviation Authority, the airspace closure will expire at 11:00 a.m. local time on Saturday (4:00 a.m. Eastern Time).

The broadcaster noted that around the time strikes were reported in Tehran, FlightRadar24 data showed four civilian planes taking off from the Iranian capital.
Iran’s semi-official news agency Fars reported that several military bases in western Iran and southwest of Tehran were targeted in the attacks.
The US has stated that it is not involved in Israel's military operation against targets in Iran.

Reports surfaced of explosions in Tehran and other cities, with the IDF officially confirming the operation, stating that precise strikes were being conducted on Iranian military targets.
