HUR strengthened Zelenskyy’s negotiating position: Kellogg’s daughter voices support for Intel chief

Defense Intelligence of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has achieved significant success on the battlefield, strengthening President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's negotiating position, states Meaghan Mobbs, daughter of Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, on Twitter (X).
"UKR Defense Intelligence under (Kyrylo - ed.) Budanov, a Hero of Ukraine, has achieved significant, asymmetrical success on the battlefield & increased Zelenskyy's negotiating power," Mobbs wrote.
That is why, in her view, the rumors about attempts to remove Budanov appear reckless, political, and extremely damaging to the country at a critical moment.
Meaghan Mobbs is the head of the humanitarian R.T. Weatherman Foundation, which oversees a logistics hub on the Romania–Ukraine border used to deliver medical supplies and other aid to Ukrainian hospitals.
Successes of Ukraine’s Intelligence and Budanov’s statements
The Defense Intelligence (HUR) of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense continues to carry out successful operations against the Russian forces. Recently, HUR hackers attacked the largest internet provider in Siberia, which had been used by Russian security agencies to support aggression against Ukraine.
In addition, in June, HUR hackers targeted the services of Russia’s customs, tax authority, and Russian Railways (RZhD). The goal of such cyberattacks is to disrupt the functioning of government websites, financial institutions, transport infrastructure, and Russia’s energy systems.
One of HUR’s latest successful operations was an attack on a power substation in Kaliningrad. Agents managed to cut power to military-industrial facilities and Russian army sites. As a result, Russia sustained damages estimated at nearly $5 million.
HUR chief Kyrylo Budanov suggested that Ukraine and Russia might reach a ceasefire arrangement in 2025. However, he noted that the more important question is how long and effective such a truce would be.
Amid efforts by intermediaries, led by the United States, to bring Russia to the negotiating table, Budanov recently warned that the Russian forces have improved North Korean KN-23 missiles. According to him, these ballistic missiles have now become more accurate.
