Ukrainian Defense Forces launched another massive attack on various regions of Russia on October 4, according to a statement by the Russian Federation's Defense Ministry.

Authorities acknowledged that during the day, the country's air defenses attempted to repel a large-scale Ukrainian air attack.

The ministry traditionally did not disclose how many drones Ukraine used in the latest attack.

Nevertheless, the report makes it clear that more than 300 drones were involved.

As Russians said, they were repelling the latest Ukrainian air attack from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Moscow time.

Russia's Defense Ministry claimed that its air defenses allegedly intercepted and destroyed 280 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.

This time, Russians attempted to shoot down Ukrainian drones over:

  • Kursk region
  • Belgorod region
  • Smolensk region
  • Bryansk region
  • Kaluga region
  • Tula region
  • Oryol region
  • Rostov region
  • Moscow region
  • Krasnodar Krai
  • Occupied Crimea
  • The waters of the Black and Azov Seas.

As previously reported, Ukraine's Security Service struck two Russian fighter jets at a military airfield in Adygea.

In addition, Ukraine's Defense Forces successfully struck a Buk-M3 air defense system, a drone launch site, and other Russian targets.
