Heavy clashes as Ukraine targets Russian logistics hub in Donetsk region

Combat units of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR) are conducting a series of successful operations in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, to expand fire control over Russian logistics, the HUR reports.
"With the forces of the Timur Special Unit of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the operation continues in one of the areas of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region that is important from the point of view of frontline logistics. Fierce fighting with Russian forces is ongoing," the Defense Intelligence stated.
It is noted that after a successful landing operation, additional special unit forces joined the Defense Intelligence servicemen who had secured designated positions and established a ground corridor.

Combat work also continues, aimed at eliminating the enemy's attempts to expand fire control over logistics in the area of responsibility of the Defense Intelligence. Other special units of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine are also carrying out combat tasks in the sector.
"For the safety of the personnel of the units involved, the details of the operations are not being disclosed at this time. Coordinated work continues together with all components of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine," the Defense Intelligence added.

Situation on the front
The primary focus of the Russian forces is currently on the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy seeks to encircle Pokrovsk and the surrounding settlements.
Moreover, fighting continues in Pokrovsk itself, where Russian soldiers have managed to infiltrate.
According to RBC-Ukraine sources, around one thousand Russian soldiers may have broken into the city.
Yesterday, on November 3, the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian soldiers halted the enemy's advance in the northern part of Pokrovsk and prevented the enemy from cutting a key logistics road.
At the same time, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that Ukrainian defenders continue their counteroffensive operation in the Dobropillia direction. Assault units have achieved successes.
