Half of drones that attacked Ukraine overnight were Shaheds - Air Force

Ukraine was attacked overnight on September 7 by 810 enemy drones, about half of which were combat Shaheds, according to Yurii Ihnat, Head of Communications at the Air Force, during a national telethon live broadcast.
"About half of the UAVs that entered our country today are combat-type Shaheds. The rest are Gerbera decoy drones," Ihnat said.
The Air Force representative emphasized that the Gerbera decoys can also be dangerous. Russia uses them for reconnaissance and surveillance. According to Ihnat, such drones can carry explosives weighing up to 5 kg.
Overnight, the Russian forces launched 810 drones and 13 missiles at Ukraine, including ballistic ones. Air defense forces shot down 751 enemy targets — 747 drones and 4 Iskander-K cruise missiles.
