Situation in Crimea

In general, explosions are heard more and more often in Crimea. Ukrainian defenders have already conducted dozens of operations on the peninsula and in the Black Sea, destroying Russian bases, warehouses, and ships.

For example, on December 21, explosions were heard in Kerch, and smoke was seen in the area of the Industrial Highway. There is a large military-industrial plant Albatross there. According to recent reports, it was abandoned and not used.

Also, on the night of December 26, the Ukrainian Air Force launched a missile attack on the large landing ship Novocherkassk, which was in the port of Feodosia.

As a result of the strike, the ship was destroyed. It is assumed that it was carrying Shahed drones, which is why the explosion was extremely powerful.
