Grain incident in Poland is similar to Russian hybrid war - Ukrainian minister
Those involved in the recent incident with Ukrainian grain in the Polish city of Bydgoszcz must be found and punished, according to Ukrainian Minister of Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov.
"Those who have damaged Ukrainian grain must be found, neutralized, and punished. Two friendly civilized European states are interested in this. Such planned demonstration videos and comments have similarities with the russian hybrid war," he said.
According to Kubrakov, the embassy has sent a note demanding to find and punish those responsible.
"The police have already taken procedural steps on the spot. The police commissariat in Bydgoszcz is handling the case. We are keeping it under control," the minister wrote.
Fourth incident in a month
On February 20, Polish protesters dumped about 4 tons of grain from two grain wagons awaiting transfer to a narrow-gauge railway at the Medyka station. This agricultural product was also in transit to Germany. At that time, the co-organizer of the protest, Polish farmer Roman Kondruv, claimed that the protesters dumped the grain "due to emotions."
On February 23, unknown individuals damaged Ukrainian agricultural products in Poland again. The perpetrators opened three grain wagons and spilled their contents.
The third incident occurred on February 24 at the Polish railway station in Dorohusk.
On February 25, grain in transit by rail was dumped in Poland again, with over 150 tons of grain having been obliterated.
