Two young children—a 12-year-old girl and her 6-year-old brother—were injured in a Russian drone attack on the Podilskyi district of Ukraine's Odesa region, Military Administration head Oleh Kiper reported.

Both children were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds at the regional children's hospital. Doctors assessed the girl's condition as critical, while the boy is in moderate condition.

According to the regional governor, doctors are providing the children with all necessary medical care and are fighting to save their health.

Earlier today, August 1, a Russian drone struck a high-rise apartment building in central Odesa.

Odesa region remains under constant combined attacks, with Russian forces using attack drones and various types of missiles. Due to the intensity of the strikes, the region records at least 10 air raid alerts per day.
