Get ready for long journey: How much time it takes to complete S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl was recently postponed by GSC Game World and pushed back to November, which caused disappointment for some players. At Gamescom, the Stalker 2 team held a live demo of the game, inviting players to enjoy 20 minutes of the intense survival shooter, according to Insider Gaming.
How long does it take to complete the game?
During the event in Cologne, the team from GSC Game World spoke about the scale of the game, emphasizing that it takes 100 hours to complete Stalker 2.
In an interview with GamesRadar, GSC's Yevnhenii Kulyk explained that Stalker 2 is "huge" and that it takes an average player about 100 hours to complete it.
Speaking about the depth of Stalker 2, he mentioned that the team used almost no procedural generation to create the huge in-game map, which includes areas in Chornobyl and Pripyat known as the ‘The Zone’.
A report published by GamesRadar notes that "everything you see in the game was actually touched by a human hand".
"Everything you may notice or experience in our game was made by the hands of our talented level designers, level artists, team designers, and so on. You will not notice two exact buildings or two exact rooms with the same placement of the same props of meshes or something like that. Every player that is playing Stalker 2 will get their story," says Yevnhenii Kulyk.
