Germany raised aviation to intercept Russian planes
German military detected a Russian aircraft in the sky over the Baltic Sea, according to the German Air Force's Twitter (X) page.
The Russian IL-20 was flying without radio communication and a flight plan.
"Today Eurofighters from the German Air Force embarked on another mission. The aircraft IL-20 was identified without a flight plan and radio communication," military officials reported.
NATO actions against Russian threats
Earlier, we reported that Swedish aircraft recently conducted two flights near the border with Russia for the first time since Sweden joined NATO.
We also reported that Poland is confident in NATO allies' assistance in case of Russian aggression.
The first NATO base has opened in Albania, aimed at protecting the Western Balkans region from threats posed by Russia.
Additionally, large-scale military exercises involving NATO countries will continue in northern Finland, Sweden, and Norway until March 15th.
