Germany is infiltrated by Russian spies. Ukraine has warned Berlin about this, according to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksii Danilov, in an interview with The Times.

Danilov stated that the German authorities have been repeatedly warned that the country is overrun with a new generation of Russian spies and that Berlin is "vulnerable" to espionage.

According to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Moscow's spy network in Germany is so deep that Russia has gained access to secret negotiations, including those regarding the transfer of Taurus missiles to Ukraine.

"We have made multiple warnings to our German partners about the spy network of Russians that are very active in Germany. It is well known the Russians are listening to conversations of German officials and we think this is not the last conversation they have," said Danilov.

According to him, before 1989, there were many Russian spies in Germany, and now their sons and daughters are engaged in this activity.

Wiretapping of German officers

Recently, the German Ministry of Defense confirmed the interception of conversations among German officers regarding the transfer of Taurus missiles to Ukraine, but they were verifying the authenticity of the recording published by the Russians.

Following this, the Vice-Chair of the parliamentary Green Party group, Agnieszka Brugger, accused Russia and dictator Vladimir Putin of attempting to destabilize the situation in Germany.
