German Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to massive attack by Russian Federation
The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs has responded to Russia's most extensive attack on Ukraine on December 29. The ministry pledges continued support for our state in its struggle against aggression, according to the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The statement further notes that shortly before the end of the year, Russia has once again spread terror across Ukraine, launching over 100 missiles and drones that have destroyed, among other targets, a maternity hospital, tearing people away from their everyday lives.
"Even in 2024 we won't move an inch away from the Ukrainian side," the statement declares.

Massive rocket shelling of Ukraine by Russia on December 29
On December 29, the Russian army carried out its most extensive missile strike on Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war. Cities including Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and Odesa were targeted, resulting in numerous casualties and fatalities. The enemy's focus extended to social and critical infrastructure.
In total, 158 hostile targets were identified in the airspace. Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense forces successfully intercepted 114 targets in the sky, including 27 strike UAVs Shahed and 87 cruise missiles X-101/X-555/X-55.
