German Inspector General predicts when Russia is ready to attack NATO
Russia could be ready to launch a military attack on NATO members in five to eight years. However, first, it needs to restore its forces after the war in Ukraine, states Bundeswehr Inspector General Carsten Breuer.
"By then, based on our analysis, Russia (will have) reconstituted its own forces to a degree that an attack against NATO soil could be possible," said General.
He clarified that he wasn't saying this would happen necessarily, but he allowed for this possibility.
