Ukrainian military continue to respond harshly to enemy assaults and offensive actions. Since the beginning of the day, the most intense attacks by Russians are reported in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the latest update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the current day, there have been 47 combat engagements on the frontlines. The most attacks by the enemy are occurring in the Pokrovsk direction, accounting for nearly 30% of all conflicts.

Russians from their territory continue to target controlled aerial bombs on the Kharkiv region. Specifically, the enemy struck Vovchansk with six bombs, Vesele with four, and dropped one aerial bomb near Lyptsi. Currently, four enemy attacks near Vovchansk have been repelled in the Kharkiv direction, with two ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, fighting continues near Stelmakhivka. Additionally, Russian terrorists are bombing areas of Kupiansk, Stelmakhivka, and Petropavlivka, using a total of eight guided aerial bombs.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy has made three attempts since the beginning of the day to improve tactical positions near Nevske. Combat operations are ongoing. In the Siversk ditection, the enemy conducted an airstrike with three guided aerial bombs.

The Pokrovsk direction is experiencing the highest intensity of enemy attacks. The total number of combat actions here has risen to 13 since the beginning of the day, with five engagements ongoing.

Russia advances at the front

Russian forces have intensified their attacks on the frontlines in recent months. Occupiers are advancing in the area of Avdiivka, which they managed to capture (Pokrovsk direction).

Furthermore, Russians are attempting to seize the city of Chasiv Yar. This would open up a path for them towards the Kramatorsk agglomeration.

Additionally, since May 10, invaders have launched an offensive in the northern part of the Kharkiv region. The Russians have not made significant progress into the region. However, according to Ukrainian military reports, this is an attempt by the occupiers to stretch the defenses of Ukraine.

Over the past day, there have been 170 combat engagements on the frontlines, resulting in the enemy losing over 1,000 soldiers.
