FPV drone halts Russian assault as Ukrainian forces rescue trapped comrades

Ukrainian troops rescued their comrades from Russian encirclement using an FPV drone on one of the frontlines, according to a post by the Operational Command North of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
"In the Kostiantynivka–Pokrovsk direction, comrades from the 91st Separate Anti-Tank Battalion found themselves surrounded, four Russian soldiers were already preparing to storm the building," the video caption reads.
However, Russia’s plans were disrupted by an FPV drone: instead of launching an assault, panic broke out among the Russian troops.
"They ran, hid, and scattered across the field. But the drone hit the target precisely. And a cluster munition finished off those who somehow survived. This is how coordination works: when the units are different, but the goal is the same. And when you know for sure: backup will come," the soldiers said.
Russian forces lost more than a thousand troops over the past day.
Ukrainian forces also destroyed three tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, 88 artillery systems, 176 operational-tactical UAVs, 123 vehicles, two pieces of special equipment, and one heavy flamethrower system.
Earlier today, map updates showing the situation across all directions of the front were provided.
