Russian forces launched a massive overnight attack on the Shostka community in the Sumy region on July 19, causing damage and destruction, according to the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleh Hryhorov, on Telegram.

"At night, the Shostka community was once again subjected to a massive strike by Russia. For almost four hours, the Russians attacked Shostka with strike UAVs," he said.

As a result of the enemy attack, civilian infrastructure was destroyed. Residential areas also sustained damage.

No casualties have been reported so far.

"Specialized services are working at the scene — the area is being inspected and the aftermath of the strikes is being dealt with," the statement reads.

Strike on Ukraine

During the night of July 19, the Russians attacked Odesa with drones, causing a high-rise building to catch fire. One person was killed.

The occupiers also launched a massive strike on Pavlohrad with missiles and drones. Fires broke out, and a fire station, industrial facilities, and a five-story building were damaged.
