Former US special envoy Keith Kellogg said he plans to visit Kyiv, he made the statement at the Black Sea Security Forum.

He noted that he would like to be with Ukrainians at the moment, but added that, unfortunately, this is not possible.

In addition, the former Trump special envoy thanked Ukrainians for their work and for maintaining the partnership with the US.

Keith Kellogg recently stated that Moscow is facing defeat in the war rather than achieving victory, and called on Russia to come to the negotiating table. He also noted that since 2014, Ukraine has lost only about 1% of its territory.

Earlier, Kellogg proposed creating a new defense system to replace NATO. He described the Alliance as "cowardly" due to its stance on Iran, while separately highlighting Ukraine as a potentially reliable partner, calling it an effective ally.

In addition, in March, Kellogg compared Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Donald Trump, noting that both are direct and decisive individuals. He also emphasized that he had personally visited the front line and is well aware of the situation on the ground.

RBC-Ukraine also reported that the Russian President is concerned about the possibility of becoming another Nicholas II — the last Russian tsar, who was executed after his abdication.
