Kellogg says Zelenskyy has a lot in common with Trump

US Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg compared Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to US President Donald Trump, saying both are hard and direct in an interview with Newsmax.
What Kellogg said about Zelenskyy
"Zelenskyy is a hard. He's a lot like President Trump. He's very direct, he's very hard, not in stature, but the way he is, and the way he operates, and the way he talks," Kellogg said.
The diplomat said he had personally visited Ukraine, traveled to the front line, and understands the situation from the inside. Kellogg clearly described Russian President Vladimir Putin as the aggressor and said the United States should increase pressure on Russia to bring the war closer to an end.
He also stressed that the war in Ukraine is not a business deal or a commercial arrangement. According to him, he respects Ukraine and the way the country is resisting.
"What they have done in the last four years plus is astounding," Kellogg noted.
Earlier, Kellogg criticized the United States over its position on Ukraine at the United Nations. During a UN General Assembly vote on a resolution supporting a lasting peace in Ukraine, the US abstained, which drew his criticism.
According to Kellogg, ending the war in Ukraine requires resolving two key issues. He compared this path to the final 10 meters for soldiers.
