Former US ambassador predicts Harris's position on Ukraine if she becomes President
If US Vice President Kamala Harris wins the presidential election, she will be more aggressive on some issues than current President Joe Biden, stated the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine William Taylor.
"My bet is she (Harris - ed.) is going to be a little more aggressive than President Biden," he said.
At the same time, Taylor noted that President Biden had done an excellent job. He has assembled and maintained a coalition, worked closely with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and collaborated closely with Europeans.
"He's done a fine job. He's been slow in some things. He's been slow to make some decisions about HIMARS, and about Abrams, and about F-16s. And now, he's been slow in making the decision to shoot and attack deep into Russia. And she's already indicated that she will be a little more aggressive on some issues than even President Biden," William Taylor noted.
Last night, the first debate between presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump took place in the United States.
The former President and the current Vice President of the United States discussed a number of domestic policy issues, as well as foreign policy, including Ukraine.
RBC-Ukraine has collected the main statements of the US presidential candidates at the debate.
We reported that the famous American singer Taylor Swift told who she would support in the upcoming presidential election.
