On the evening of November 13, a fire broke out at one of the mines in the Donetsk region due to a voltage drop following enemy shelling, according to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine's Facebook post.
"In the evening, a fire broke out at one of the mines in the Donetsk region due to a voltage drop," the statement said.
As indicated, 45 miners were underground at the time of the emergency.
Background
Yesterday, on November 13, Russian terrorists attacked the Donetsk region. The shelling hit a substation, causing a power outage in the area. As a result, one of the mines was left without electricity.
At the time of the disconnection, 28 people were underground. All of them were brought to the surface.
