Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico stated that he "does not have sufficient information" to comment on the missile strike on Sumy on April 13. Therefore, he refused to directly condemn Russia for the attack, Postoj.sk informs.

During a briefing, journalists asked Fico to comment on the Russian missile strike on Sumy.

"I condemn killing. I condemn all killings — I have always done so and always will. But I do not have enough information to say anything right now," said the Slovak Prime Minister.

Strike on Sumy on April 13

On April 13, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the center of Sumy. Ballistic missiles with cluster warheads exploded in an area crowded with civilians. A trolleybus was passing near the site of the strike at the time.

As of the morning of April 14, the number of people injured in the Russian missile attack on Sumy had risen to 119. In addition, at least 35 people were killed as a result of the attack.

The latest act of Russian terrorism has been condemned by world leaders. US President Emmanuel Macron, responding to the tragedy, emphasized that Russia is choosing war over agreeing to a ceasefire proposal.

US President Donald Trump also reacted to yesterday’s Russian missile strike on Sumy, calling it a "mistake."
