FBI releases video of Charlie Kirk alleged killer on the run

The FBI has released footage showing the suspected gunman fleeing the scene after the murder of American activist Charlie Kirk.
The video shows the suspect jumping from a rooftop and escaping after the shooting.
According to the FBI, the man climbed onto the roof around 12:00 p.m. local time. After Kirk's murder, he jumped down and fled.
The suspect left his gun and ammunition in a wooded area near the university.
At the scene, including on the roof, investigators found several traces: shoe prints, as well as an imprint of a forearm and a palm.
The FBI urged anyone with information about the activist’s murder to contact investigators.
Key details on Charlie Kirk's murder
On September 10, a sniper shot Charlie Kirk during a debate at Utah Valley University. It was his first appearance out of 15 scheduled as part of his “American Comeback Tour.”
Gunfire erupted about 20 minutes into his speech. Kirk was wounded in the neck, hospitalized, and his condition was described as critical.
Shortly after, US President Donald Trump announced on his Truth Social account that Kirk had died from his injury.
According to the Utah Department of Public Safety, which is investigating the case together with the FBI, the shooter likely fired a single shot from the rooftop of a nearby campus building in what officials called a targeted attack.
The FBI initially detained two suspects in the murder, but later released them.
Trump said that those responsible for Kirk’s murder are being “hunted” and expressed hope they will be caught soon.
