FBI director raises questions about whether Donald Trump was shot by bullet during assassination attempt
Former US President Donald Trump may not have been injured by a bullet during the shooting at a rally in Pennsylvania, states FBI Director Christopher Wray.
"With respect to former President Trump, there's some question about whether or not it's a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear," Wray stated during his testimony before the US House Judiciary Committee.
As the source reminds, Trump himself has claimed that he sustained a gunshot wound during the shooting at the campaign rally.
What preceded
On July 13, during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, an unknown assailant shot at Donald Trump. As a result of the incident, one rally attendee was killed, and two others were injured.
Trump was not seriously harmed; he was injured in the ear. Relevant photos of the incident quickly appeared in the media.
The shooter was neutralized by US Secret Service agents. It was later revealed that the attacker was 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks. Notably, according to voter registration records, he had voted for Republicans in the elections.
