Explosions rock Ukraine's Kharkiv as Russian guided bombs target two districts

Explosions were reported in Kharkiv on the evening of November 2. Preliminary reports indicate that Russian forces attacked the city with guided aerial bombs, targeting two districts, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
According to Terekhov, Russian forces targeted the Industrialnyi District of Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb. The consequences are not yet known.
"Kharkiv was attacked with an enemy-guided aerial bomb. An explosion was heard in the Industrialnyi District. We are clarifying the details," he wrote.
Syniehubov reported that Russian forces struck the Kyiv and Industrial districts with guided aerial bombs. No information on casualties has been received. Authorities are assessing the impact of the attacks.
Later, Terekhov reported that the guided aerial bomb landed in an open area. There are no damages, destructions, or casualties.
"In the Industrialnyi District, preliminary information indicates a strike on an open area with no consequences or casualties," the mayor wrote.
Russian attacks on Kharkiv
On October 24, Russian forces struck Kharkiv during the day with a Lancet drone, injuring civilians. Earlier that morning, Russian troops attacked the city with guided aerial bombs. One strike hit a civilian enterprise, and casualties were reported.
On October 22, the enemy targeted a private kindergarten in Kharkiv. Children were reportedly injured. Russian forces deliberately struck the building with three drones.
On the night of October 25, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv's suburbs for nearly an hour. Explosions were heard in the city center — at least 13 in total. The attacks caused destruction and damage to infrastructure.
