In the settlement of Kamenolomni, Rostov Region, drones struck a railway station used by the Russian army to transport weapons for the war against Ukraine, according to Russian media and Rostov Region Governor Yury Slyusar.

According to the governor, drones have so far been destroyed in Novoshakhtinsk, Shakhty, and Novocherkassk.

“In the settlement of Kamenolomni, Oktyabrsky rural district, the roof of the railway station building caught fire due to falling drone debris. Three people were evacuated from the control center. According to preliminary information, no one was injured,” Slyusar reported.

According to Russian media, the railway station was damaged as a result of the strike.

It is noted that the railway section near this urban-type settlement is used for transporting military cargo destined for transfer to Ukraine.

"Kamenolomni is another major railway junction station on the southern route," the media report.

Massive drone attack on Russia

In the early hours of Sunday, July 20, unidentified drones struck Moscow and the Moscow region. Residents of Zelenograd, the village of Goluboye, and the Kaluga region reported hearing drone sounds and loud explosions.

On the night of Saturday, July 19, drones attacked Moscow and Rostov-on-Don. Explosions were also reported in the town of Dimitrov in the Moscow region.

On the night of July 17, drones hit the Shchekinoazot chemical plant in the Tula region.

Additionally, at the end of June, unidentified drones struck the Kominat Atlas fuel depot in the Rostov region, which supplied fuel to the Russian army.
