Explosions rock Bryansk airfield: Mi-8 helicopter burned, Mi-35 hit

In the Bryansk region on the night of June 6, a series of powerful explosions were heard in the area of the local airfield. The Russians claim an attack on combat aviation, according to the Russian outlet Astra.
“As a result of the strikes, a Mi-8 combat helicopter completely burned down, and its ammunition detonated. A Mi-35 helicopter was also partially damaged,” the publication states.
Russian media claim that the administrative building of the airport and the premises of the rescue service were also damaged. It is indicated that after the attack, at the nearby Ozon warehouse, several dozen workers were evacuated.

Before the massive Russian shelling in the night preceding Friday, June 6, Ukrainian troops struck airfields with Russian strategic aviation. The General Staff has already confirmed this information, stating that they carried out preemptive strikes.
